Aitkenvale families enjoy the short drive to our Pimlico studios, with classes available after school and on Saturday mornings. Croft Gilchrist School of Dancing has been teaching dance in Townsville since 1971, offering internationally recognised syllabi including the Royal Academy of Dance, the Australian Dance Association, and the Royal Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing.
Students of all ages build technique, confidence and friendships in our air-conditioned, purpose-built studios at 36 French St, Pimlico. Free on-site parking is available, and new students are invited to try a class before committing to a full term.

What should my child wear to the first class?
For a trial, comfortable clothes they can move in are fine. Once enrolled, each style has a simple uniform, which can be fitted at our on-site Townsville Dancewear Centre.
Which syllabus levels do you teach?
We teach the full RAD ballet syllabus, ADA jazz and tap syllabus, and VSDA/RSOBHD Highland syllabus, from beginner and pre-primary through to vocational and adult levels.
